Yet another Hollywood marriage bites the dust. Pink and Carey Hart finally called it quits. You know, this shit pisses me off. They should let the gays marry each other and outlaw celebrity marriages. I'm telling you, celebs have no business getting married. Gay marriages seem to have a longer life span, yet nobody wants to see them celebrate their love. We should switch seats and let them show us how it's done.
Their spokeperson issued this statement: "Pink and Carey Hart have separated. This decision was made by best friends with a huge amount of love and respect for one another. While the marriage is over, their friendship has never been stronger."
Too bad. I really liked them as a couple. Make some room in the tuna boat folks!

I agree with you very much. Had no idea they called it quits. Then again not surprised. It really sucks when kids are involved. Man, celebrity kids. Sucks to be one sometimes.

This is my marketing voice speaking out...
I wouldn't be surprised that most Hollywood marriages are to promote 'brand awareness' and public relations of themselves with the mass media. Especially for Hollywood, even bad press coverage is good press coverage - as long as people are talking about you, you're getting famous and popular enough to be noticed for future business opportunities.
As for the marriage itself, it sounds like it's a "friends with benefits" scenario, but in this case, it's "press-release partners with benefits."
Tom and Katie Holmes are next on my list... and yes, it really sucks when children are involved.
That's so funny you mentioned that. Katie Holmes recently ran out of one of those Scientology ceremonies because supposedly she is sick of Tom and his wacky religion. I mean it's not that hard to believe. If you see photos of her, she looks so miserable it's almost pretty sad.
I agree with you on the "bad publicity is good publicity" theory. It's so true in hollywood. I mean I saw that teenager with James Woods and I was just beyond myself. The things people do for fame.
