As you may already know, the Hate Mongers known as the Westboro Baptist Church plan to picket the death of Heath Ledger.
I actually read about it this morning, but I was became so hot and bothered I couldn't focus on how I wanted to address this.
I went on their site again to read their blog, and it's the most creepiest, disturbing thing I have ever read. Here's a few paragraphs:
"Heath Ledger is in hell! The selfish hateful people of Doomed-america sent him there, while his family cheered him on!
That's right folks, these people claim to be doing God's service. Perverting the science of religion to promote their hateful cause.
For the smart people out there who understand the power of RESEARCH, you will come to a shocking conclusion that there was no concept of homosexuality in the biblical times, so everytime I hear that "God-Made-Adam-And-Eve-Not-Adam-And-Steve" bullshit, I feel like shooting them in the face.
It was a sin for men to shave their beards and for women to make sexy time on their periods, but you don't hear anyone bitching about that, do you?
In the end of the day, THE BIBLE IS OVER 2000 YEARS OLD FOLKS! Why people follow this, is beyond me. I stand by my simple philosophy of just being a decent person and staying positive.
You know, I just realized how the picture I used for this post aligns with the religious phonies. Gollum was also pretending to be good, when in fact he was an evil little fucker. Creepy.
